Amazon Link: Battledrills for Chinese Mobile Warfare
H John Poole published this book in November, in response to indicators that a war with China wasn't that far off. He felt that training as many as possible on the Chinese model of warfare was important. Sure, Poole wants to sell more courses to the USMC, but we can take advantage of his knowledge as well.
This one is the shortest of all the H John Poole books I've read, but that's because it's a no-nonsense guide on how to train a squad to be good at short range infiltration and light infantry skills. One of the best aspects of this book is that it incorporates a lot of "lessons learned" from operations in Ukraine.
At only 138 pages, it's a quick read. Don't let that fool you, I took five pages of notes. I immediately put several of them into the curriculum for my Fieldcraft class and put several into the other classes as well.
